    Macao Blue metallic

Anybody have some good shots? I did a search here but didn't find anything worthwhile. Does the paint basically look black or what? I've done several searches on the net and have yet to find a some decent shots.

    Thanks!

Saw one at TWS a few years ago. It looks esentially black except when the sun is at your back....even then it is still very dark.
It's not speed that kills, it's the speed difference that does. Obviously you aren't going fast enough.

It is even darker than carbon black. CB has more blue than Macau. The Macau Blue is really really dark and you have to have a lot of sunlight to see it.

I think the blues pretty plain to see. i guess if it was dark it might be hard to tell but judge for yourself!

the "dirty" you think your seeing is the metallic part of the paint, looks much different in real life or up close in pictures. Ever seen a Diamantschwarz E30 M3 in real life? Same type of paint.

Hard to tell without seeing it in person. Of course, it will look different based upon the light.

Im about to purchase my first E30

It will be getting an extensive facelift to transform a 325 to M3 Evo II class, splashed in Macao Blue and rolling on BBS RGR's in Diamond Black.

    I can't wait!

Why not start with an E30 M3 in the first place. It would be less work in the long run. Just a thought.

How about being constructive and you describe it?

Was Macao a stock color offered for the E30 M3? If so what year was it offered?

Whipee, another 'Expert' giving out misinformation. They did not offer Mac on standard cars.

Mac is on the Evo II, Cab, Cecotto/Ravaglia, Europa Meister.

    None of those are standard....

Who said standard? He said "stock". A straight out of the factory Evo II, Cab, Cecotto/Ravaglia, or Europa Meister is considered stock, and can come in Macao.

    But thanks for trying, 'Expert'
