MAF cleaning suggestion (are there any other sensors)

Almost getting done with my inspection II service...

Curious as to how many different sensors are there that I can clean? I mean there is that MAF sensor... and I was wondering if I can take it out and clean it.

Q1. Can that sensor be cleaned and is it recommended or should i leave it alone?
Q2. Are thre any other sensors that I should clean/replace?
Q3. If yes... either of the questions above, anybody knows any DIY guides?

Thanks Fellas. You guys been great.

Q1: I don't see why not. Get the CRC MAF cleaner. Runs for $6. It's essentially a cleaner for electronic parts.

Q2: If you have pre-2003 E46, you can clean the IAT sensor in the intake manifold. The rest of the sensors in the engine area are either HALL sensors or temp sensors. I would recommend cleaning the sensor connectors as well. The above cleaner can do that.
