    Dirty Laundry

Any special method of washing nomex socks? Mine also came without tags or any sort of id (had a sticker on the outside). What's a cheap, simple method of "tagging" them? Sharpee? I failed Chemistry so I figured I would ask before I void the purpose of the Nomex (ie, use non-nomex thread, etc).

Safest bet, if you have doubt, is wash gentle in a light cleaner (ex. woolite), no fabric softener, and let hang dry.

+1, woolite, cold water, most gentle cycle your machine has, hang dry...i use this for all of my nomex undergarments, suit, and gloves...

(My nomex are washed on the gentle cycle with an organic (no dye, phosphates, fragrance, etc) detergent.)
