WARNING: avoid AUTOECU.com for ABS DSC repair

Just a word of warning on these jokers. Wish I would have more carefully researched the company before sending my unit off. I have since read other horror stories.
Anyway, sent off my ABS e39 module 3 times to them. Finally they agreed to refund but of course I never saw it. Worse, after I realized they never refunded the payment (2 weeks later), I emailed again on the status and they wanted it back a 4th time.
Customer service is also a joke but I guess that goes without saying.
    Anyway, watch out.

    update...
Don, the head of this scam just left me negative, retaliatory feedback on eBay.
He made up a whole new BS line about not installing it properly. I can't believe they stay in business.

Did you go through Ebay with all of this? Even if you did and they won't refund anything, call your bank. I guarantee you, if you have a good bank, they'll file a complaint and claim about them and will get money back.

I had a similar experience with them regarding a rebuild of my VW abs controller. Total bunch of scheisters.

Use a CC whenever paying any of the Ebay stuff......even through Paypal. Problems go away as soon as you put it in dispute.

This is and OLD thread, but someone would've killed me for not searching.

These guys recently bought some items from me off eBay as EZCASHAUCTIONS and took various parts out and tried to return it saying it was damaged in transit!!! These guys are a fraud!!! CAREFUL! THey are also known as AUTOMOTIVE SCIENTIFIC in Tennessee and operate online as AUTOECU.com

Their reviews on yelp should speak for themselves. HOPE THIS HELPS ANYONE EVEN THINKING OF BUYING ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS..

Yes, I agree!! I called and they quoted 2-3 day turn around for my ABS module. A month and $533 later (after two weeks they said they could not repair my module and charged me for a rebuilt one) I still have not received anything from them. The owner Don Messina is unresponsive. His customer service "manager" Trena is completely useless and will not help. Stated the company is short-handed and way behind on orders. Stay away!!!
