2001 M3 vert - Airbag light comes on briefly

When I start the car the airbag light comes on and stays on until I start to pull off. Once I am moving it goes off.

Is this normal?

So as long as you don't drive off the light will stay on. (for 5 minutes even). If that is the case you have to have the fault checked then go from there.
