What???? No e46 outside of a CSL was close to 80k. S54's go for 6-8k all day.

15k is a good price for installed and running in my 328i I'm guessing as I'm told it's a bitch to get working in the e36. However...

Will you take a check? It's coming from a friend of mine in Nigeria, but it'll be for $50,000. Just give me $25,000 back in cash, you can keep the rest.

    That engine is sweet.
And please cut the OP some slack. He can try and sell something for as much as he likes. It's the buyers responsibility to look around and compare prices. If he can find a buyer for the asking price then good for him.

    13??!!

Dude, I think they have that motor on ebay, and it comes with a warranty for like 8 to 9g's. So I dont know why you are charging so much. You should just let it go to someone who will really use it and take advantage of that motor....but not for 13g's. Thats a down payment on a new M3...lol

For that price I'd rather buy a euro motor and FI the hell out of it. Please be realistic: 4.5 to 5k MAX

This thread has ALMOST as many lolz as OP asking price!!
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

I have a 2002 M3. I know the original owner and I also have the original window sticker. My car was $59,480 with a long list of options. 13k for an S54 is outrageous. See this link, they spent 17k on the rebuild, did you spend 10k rebuilding your motor with the best parts available? Or are you simply trying to recoup your losses after totaling your car?

Most people that clicked on this thread are interested in purchasing an S54 for a project. Realistically an S54 swap into an E36 should be 10-12k altogether. Reduce your price substantially and you will have no problem finding buyers.
