I am looking at getting a set of drag slicks, and I am wondering if a 15"
rim will fit the e36 M3 or do I have to go with 16" or 17"
so if anyone knows please share your info
there are way more tire choices for the 15" rims and it would be great if they will fit
TIA

no. I actually don't think a 16" will fit, either.
The front brakes are too big.

dreaming of an ///M3 Wagon........
I give you the gratuitous wheel lift shot, with some lovely flowers as a backdrop...
I am more interrested in the backs for Drag slicks....
anyone?

I know 15s fit on normal E36s, not sure about M3s

Yes 15" rims fit under an E36 M3. Take a look here http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=723025

you need to grind some material off the calipers to fit 15" wheels, but they do fit, I run them on my M3

15X8 w/5.5back space will fit in back with a 26X8.5 slick. Fender lips have to be rolled tightly but they will fit, no problem. A 9 with 6.5 bs might fit too but I never got a hold of one to try it.

Also, I ran Weld Pro Stars. Back as mentioned above and 15X3.5 1.75 bs fronts and had to do no grinding on anything at all. Bolt and go except for the need for hub-centric rings to center the wheel properly.

I was not able to put on 15's I would have had to grind a half inch minimum off my front calipers I was trying to mount 15" bottle caps
