Boulder Rally after the car show Saturday??

I don't think I'll be back from work in time to make it to the CUSCC car show in Boulder Saturday, but I was thinking of going for a drive afterward (4:00 perhaps) - weather and road conditions permitting of course. The snow is supposed to stop Friday night so hopefully the roads will clear of sand by Sat afternoon. Ideally I was thinking of heading up Left Hand Canyon to Ward and then over to Nederland, but that will also depend on the snow level. If the snow level is low we can just stay in the flatlands

Any interest out there??

The Boulder Forcast is calling for snow Thurs and Fri, clearing Fri night. I think we'll avoid the snow if we stay in the flatlands. I'm more worried about excess sand on the roads. I drives me nut when they dump tons of sand down for a little snow shower.

sand is terrible for drives too, cuz it gets kicked up on front of cars, and people like to drive spiritedly and may end up in a ditch

i may head up to the show in boulder, and would be down for a cruise afterwards...

I'm really considering putting my car in the show to see if I can get some interest from potential buyers. I'm a little discouraged by the weather reports, so I might not make it. If I do end up going, then I'm definitely down for some driving.

It looks like the snow didn't accumulate like the forcast called for. It's was bad out at DIA yesterday and today. I'm traveling right now so I'm not sure what the roads are like in Boulder. Anyone near Boulder know if the sanded the hell out of the roads? If the weather's good and the roads are clear I'll stop by tomorrow around 4ish. Type2A I'll call you in the morning to see if you made it up there.

Got the what was left of the show around 3:30 and there wasn't much left. The roads are clear, but I didn't see any other BMW's so I didn't even get out. Hope you all are enjoying this beautiful day, we'll have to get a rally together sometime soon.
