Mods, can we please keep this thread clear of useless posts.

Can this post and the two above it be deleted?

What is the optimal rear suspension setup for drag racing a turbo car. What kind of spring do I want? What kind of camber/toe/caster?

I rolled my fenders this weekend and installed the TC Kline rear height adjusters ontop of H&R sport springs.

I added 1'' on each side and there is no more rubbing with the 235x60x15 ET Streets.

What kind of setup do I need to get these tires to hook?

Get a pal to video your car on hard launch. The end result you want when your suspension is optimal is that the rear tires are at zero camber at the hit. This will require a lot of suspension tweaking.

Hint: if your rears are at negative camber at stand still, you're not going to be neutral on the launch.

Ok, I had the alignment shop zero out the camber and toe. They asked me if I wanted a degree positive on the camber, and I told them no.........did I mess up? I will try to get to the strip on Friday night for test and tune.

Kenny, were should the launch rpm's on the two-step be? Or, what would you recommend as a starting point?

Also, do you have your two step activated by your line locker?

One more, do you have the antilag comming on with the two step?

Thanks fish! I think I will do this after all. Will the e34 offset screw with a big drag radial on the e36 body?

Just wondering if the grinding worked for you too?

    Thanks,

Nice to know about the drifting race in detail and its very useful for the racers and even the people who are in audience enjoy it a lot because its a drifting event and many new aspects are seen on the tracks.I like it so much, and would like to go.

Reviving this thread to say thank you for the awesome write up.

Additionally, it looks like the 3743R are no longer available, but MT came out with a new version 3470. Seems to be pretty much same sizes all around.

Hopefully eventually trying these out once the cars together.

I've been trying to find the thread or post that specified what alignment setup people are using for drag racing. Can't seem to find it. Anyone know?

You want the largest possible contact patch on the hit.
