i'm trying to install a headlight reminder, and it says to tie into the solid green wire at the ignition harness...
i poked around under the dash, and couldnt find anything like what's pictured.
i pulled back the steering column covers, and still didnt see it...
do i need to take off the steering wheel to get to it???

and.. i have an airbag car...
if i do remove the steering wheel, is disconnecting the battery enough?

What I find funny is that on the E34 it asks you if you've left the headlights on. The message literally says "Parking Lights On?" The car obviously knows you're a dumbass and have left them on, but it asks you in a polite manner.

i figured it out..
there's two wires on the buzzer...
a black one and a green one.
the black goes to the grey/yellow one thats in the back of the headlight switch.
the green goes to the solid green wire that's shown above... it's at the base of the steering column.. not near the ignition switch...
super easy once i had the right perspective, and knew what i was looking at.
