Thread: Cleaning inside of windshield- found new trick

    You can turn the mirror counterclockwise 1/3 turn, and you can take it off, for easy cleaning. Do opposite to reinstall after cleaning. Just another trick, but I still can't compete with Bob! Trust me this was a total accident. I actually thought I broke it, ScottDetroit

    Also, what a good cleaner to use so you don't get that haziness?

    Newspaper or soft paper in general work excellent when dry or very lightly damp. It sounds funny, but nothing cuts the grease and film like it. What I do is use Windex first if it is very dirty and dry with paper towels, then follow up with the paper to eliminate the haze.
