Fuel Door Spring - Picture Please?

I seriously cannot figure out how to put this spring back on. The fuel door hinge was broken when I got the car so I replaced the hinge twice.
First one was broken and the second one worked perfect... However, I had the spring off so long I forgot how it goes on!

Can someone take a really close up picture of this area on their car please?
    Would be very helpful.

    Thanks!

I just wrestled with that piece for a while. Its hard to explain, but it doen't go on as far around the plastic hinge as you think it does. I remember one part hooks sorta around the metal pole hinge piece, and the other hooks into the metal door, if that makes any sense. I would take a picture for you, but my car isn't at my house. good luck!

better be careful, those things are brittle as hell, one wrong move and your driving without a gas door...

I JB welded my cracks rather than replace the one i had, i heard most people break the NEW ONES on accident when putting them in...

I just wanted a picture of the metal, C shaped spring that goes in there...

    Not the hinge
    Not the Realoem diagram...

Just a picture of your gas tank door open and close up.

This is like a month old and I still don't have a spring in there! Sometimes if i forget to lock my doors and drive it opens up and swings with the breeze.

That would be called normal dust accumulation here... Looks like my car about 6 hours after I washed it. Stupid desert + wind.

Still think your sig pic is the touring Hotness MeisterBrau...
