Here is a bad one of me after a particularly nasty engineotomy and a shot of the wife in Jamaica last year. Last but not least my kids.

Nice. My first two cars are listed. I'm getting rid of the STS once I find something here that I like.

16.7? O.O Same age as me? Your b-day in Oct?

17 in july, get rid of the sts and get an e34 or e39 if you can come up with more cash.

I will get an e39 once I find one that has more or the same features as the 540i. Currently, the STS has the same 300hp the 540i has and almost the same 0-60. So a search to find a 540 nicer then it has been a hard one.

It was not the car. I married my High School Sweetheart.... Had a dodge Caravan when I met her. BUT, we were all probably born with the smell of Future Bimmer owners, so that may have done it for us.

Having driven an STS I can say that STS vs my 528 I will run rings around you on anything but a straight line run. The BMW interior is better engineered and the seats are far more sport oriented. The STS is certainly Plush and shiny but it is not a sporting car it is a cruiser. You are comparing apples and oranges.

I don't know, the Magnetic Ride suspension in the 02's and up was pretty damn good. And I've had no trouble controlling this car at highspeeds through a turn either. Plus, I found the seats in the STS a lot more comfortable and the gauges more interesting, plus I liked the information display it had. May not handle as well at the 5-series due to it's FWD handicap, but it is in no means, that much inferior.

And, after being in the STS forums for a while, man, they like hate you guys in there.xDD

Ive heard but I cannot verify that in many places in Europe Cadillacs are viewed much as BMWs and Mercedes are here. Over there Mercs and BMWs are a dime a dozen but caddies are something else all together.

Indeed. And euro caddies are just beautiful.
