Hell no!! Those things look like ass.
Ehhh... they're not great, but they don't suck.
Yes!! Widebody kits look great!!
A friend who we'll call... "Mot"... was thinking about maybe getting an M3 and decking it out, Zeemax-style when he does. I say he shouldn't...
So, let's hear your opinion on a tastefully done widebody (I say there is no such thing, but I'll allow for that possibility).
I think "Mot" should do it.

Why didn't you vote Ron? Do it before I start flaming and this thread gets closed.
... or deleted. I love how I didn't even get a chance to respond to the other thread.
then you havent seen the Hamann or the ALMS kits. Widebodies ROCK. U just need the power to back it up.
Whats the point of it ifyou have 19X10 and no power. BTW 10 is the SMALLEST rim he should get.
Personally I am more of a fan of Fender flare kits rather than the e30 m3 style, which looks great on that car.
Tom helped me see that I was going to get ripped a new one for even suggesting that, so I deleted it in a damn hurry! I have no interest in a public flogging today.Originally posted by buttuh

quick thinking Tom.. waytago
Hmm... I have no recollection of any other thread which may of may not have ever existed.
However if I did I might possibly think someone did the right thing by deleting it and avoiding the potential "flames"...

P.S.

I think widebody kits are awesome. I like the Zeemax Widebody kit a lot

"widebodyM3" on this forum had it done right, but costs around $20k IIRC. Looks sweet, though. Bryan Watt's dad has it on his E36 M3 B-Mod car, and it's nice.

not digging that last red one
There are some widebody kits that look tasteful to me. I wouldn't do it myself because I like how "skinny" my car looks. But I definitely agree that you shouldn't do it unless you have the power to back it up.

Edit: I forgot to add...that isn't an M3, either. I think it's a 328, but I don't know for sure.
Go for it! But I hope he is aware what he is getting into. Mucho $$$.
Thanks for the heads up Nick.

If "mot" goes widebody (if he even gets an M3), I think it's important that he also get's a spoiler. Widebody w/o one doesn't look right.
Where can I find the price or website for this?
