    I love turbos!
    Hey fight,
I think they mean the C5, not the C4. Just kidding and bustin' your balls. Cool cars. Which do you enjoy more? The Vette or the Bimmer.
I had a couple of Vettes way back when, a C3 and a C4. I really don't miss the creaks, hot footwells and 'glas stress cracks. I'm really thankful I was driving a Bimmer when I got into my 2 wrecks. Really didn't want my a$$ to be wrapped in fiberglass in those accidents.

I really can't compare the Vette -vs- the Beemer's, they are just VERY different cars.

Vette - awesome V8. Massive torque. You sit very low. Big, powerful, almost stock car feel. American exotic. No body roll. Targa top is incredible, next best thing to a convertible. Too much for normal street use. Get on it for a couple seconds and the fun is over, you are going too fast. Same with onramps - they are anticlimatic. I don't take them fast enough to really enjoy, since the limits of the car are so high. Cramped, creaky. Garage queen, yet there is still something about it....

BMW - wonderful I6 engine. Loves to rev (why is the redline SO low?). Fun to ring it out on a daily basis. Limits are reasonable enough you can really use the car, yet it has excellent reserve capacity. Great functionality, room and capacity. Good for everyday use. Good visibility. The E46 is a true luxury car, almost too much so with the 5spd automatic.

If I had to get down to 2 cars, I think I'd do an E46 for every day and an M3 for the fun. Drop the Vette from the lineup.
