Hey guys... I've noticed lately that when the temp. drops 35° and under, my shifter clicks when my car moves. It sound like when we were kids and put baseball cards in the spokes of our bikes. The sound speeds up the faster i go. I have a autotranny and it shifts fine and has no problems what so ever. ONly 75,000 miles on the tranny... Any ideas?

what type of tranny fluid are you using, OE??? I would try a heavier weight...
i belive auto fluid shifts smoother..
most companys ust automatic transmission fluid on their manual cars...
its prob just becuase the fluid gets cold out and is thicker and dosnt lubricate as well as when its warm.. henc the sounds of metal to metal contact
im just speculating

i'm using OE... I actually found out from another forum that there is a shield that starts to sag over the driveshft . When it touchs the shaft it makes a clicking noise.... No wonder it makes the noise even in neutral...
