It can be problematic, took me 3 fitters till I found one willing to take the job on! Most of them told me a 225/35 wouldn't fit a 10" wheel... I told them to jog on when I turned up with tyres and wheels fitted 2 hours later.

Have seen 215/35/18 on a 9.5x18, that got to be the limit

You can stretch harder then that. I ran 215/40/17 on 9.5's and 205/40's on 9's and wasnt at the point of needing tubes yet
