Do I need to replace the brake wear sensor?

I'm replacing my front pads/rotors (which warped prematurely) but the pads on the car are still like 80% thickness. Do I still need to replace the wear sensor?

    Anyone?

As long as the sensor didn't trip the obc, you are fine. No need to replace!

If the brake pad sensor didn't go off then you can carefully pry out the old one and reuse it. If the sensor did go off then you will not be able to reuse it.

No, the sensor did not go off. Cool, looks like I can just use the existing one. Thanks!

FWIW, it trips a light in the dash, not the OBC.
