    S50 powered e36 sedan vs. 350z

    so me and my friend are on this cruise saturday night and see a burnt orange 350z...looked like the '04ish model judging by the rims with his gf riding shotgun. we get to a two lane road and no one else was infront. I ask if he wants to go 1 time, he nods, she smiles..haha

    1st race: i get into second and hear him downshift aswell...on the third honk we took off, dead even...i quickly shift to third and see him right next door to me....shifting into 4th(same gear i beat a 350 last time) i see myself gaining ever so slightly and give a peace sign out the window i approach the top of fourth and i shut down because of a car coming up in my lane.

    1993 325i: 1 2004 350z: 0


    2nd race: i catch up to him after i pass the car and he slows up. he sticks one finger out as if to go one more time...i smile and nod. this time i start in 3rd and i honked....again we get an even start and i hit fourth but dont seem to be walking away...just inching...his bumper was at my door and i shut down at the top of fourth with him still at my door.

    1993 325i: 2 2004 350z: 0

    3rd and final race: as im all giddy since i barely beat another stock 350, he wants to go again...im down he honks this time and he got a slight jump and as i shift into third, hes still half a car infront as i watch my tach go to 7000 i shift into fourth thinking im gonna be inching away and i just get neck and neck with him. he shuts down due to a car infront.....wow that was close!

    so on the last race it was a draw but basically i barely beat a stock '04 350 two times. what a night....

    btw i hope you guys dont turn this thread into another 350z vs. m3 thread like all the others...believe it or not it happened.

    thanks guys and yeah id love to go up against an e36 m3 but i only know a couple guys with them and ones in the navy in deployment and the others turboed ...but when he comes back were going up and up, i cant wait.

    Hey i know how you feel. i inched away from a modded 350z. i think after a hundred it would of became feet away. considering i kept my boys 01 ws6 behind me all the way up to 160. but down low he pulls right away.

    MODS: Wrapped Headers (no cats) Agency Power Exhaust, BMC drop in filter, Streamline elbow, front intake scoops, CSL Style C/F Rear diffuser, CSL rep. front bumper with one piece lip, Smoked led Tails and corner lights, Weisslicht Angel Eyes with carbon fiber headlight housing, and funny euro tag.

    noice!! so you pull on a stock ws6!??! i had a chance to race one but he had to take his gf home and never came back..haha must have been scared, but honestly i was intimidated by that ws6, but i didnt care win or lose...

    btw, whats the wieght and stock hp on those?

    Just by being muscle car gives you a 200lb increase.
