Brake Fluid warning light reset

Hi!! How can I reset the brake fluid change warning light, on my 2000 E46??
It's that little watch like icon just above the odometer.

Have you tried... opening the hood, filling the reservoir, then turning the car on to see if it goes out???

There is no 'brake fluid change warning' light. There IS a brake pad wear indicator light and a low brake fluid warning light. The pad wear indicator is a circle with 3 dashes on each side, and the low fluid light is the "BRAKE" light that comes on. Which do you have?

yeah, no brake fluid change light on E46. Only cars that have individual maintenance lights for each service are E60+

Hi Johnny,

did you ever figure out how to reset that watch symbol.

It's the indicator for a needed change of all the brake fluid (complete flush) and should be done every 2 years or so according to BMW.
