speedometer issues

speedometer is remaing down and wont read speed..
it occasionaly pops back up but when i hit a bump it falls right back down.
i pulled it out and the batteries on the si board still hold the charge.
Im lost i dont know what else it could be ...

If you hit a bump and it works again, it could be the wires for the speed signal sender on the back of the diff. Look at the back of the diff and there should be a rubber boot on the sender, pull it back and see if the wires are loose on it.

The speed sensor in the diff. went bad. A $30 part and takes only 5 minutes to change. A very common problem.

It's The Wiring I Swear It Is Just Shack The Wires The Next Time It Does It And If So Replace Them Or Just Crash It And Buy An E36

welll i already crashed it .. and already fixed it,,
had to weld in a new core support..=( and new hood fenders radiator fan ac condenser and all that other bs.. im attached to the car.. its my first car.. mind u im 17 ..haha so i put in the money..but i dk what else it could be ..
