98 E36 M3 vs Modded 1.8T (Videos)

This was a race between my 2 good friends, the M3 is a 98 and has a removed airbox. 1.8T has Chip,DV valve,DP,Exhaust.
1.8T was a little stronger in 2nd gear but from 3 and 4th they were damn even. In the last few races the m3 clutch started to slip.

the way it sat in that race was around 2950lbs. At the track with no back seats/spare tires etc it weighs in at 2850lbs and it's best e/t is 13.76 @101... but averages 13.90 @99.5

You need to dl the latest codec from www.divx.com and you'll be good to go

That was a terrible start by the M3, To much wheel spin!!!!!!

My roomate had the VW GTI 337, and had it chipped, very fast, the wheels would skip in 1st and 2nd. I would still crush him off the line, he would only hand from a rolling start.

Are you kidding me? he bogged and then had ZERO wheel spin..
But even IF he did spin the tires which he didn't how about i take a picture of the tires that were on the car.

Or how about this...go run your car at the track... run a 13.9 with a 2.0 or better 60ft on stock tires... then i'd say you can launch good enough to criticize other people

Also your friend had a CHIP and walked you... the 1.8t in mention runs 13.7 @ 101 and also has a DP,Exhaust,DV Valve... So i would hate to see what this m3 would do to you
