    Racing Dynamics Carbon Fiber Intake

I just installed this, it was supposed to be for an e46 but was told that it would also fit in an e36. Doesnt fit supper tight and snug but over all it looks pretty good.

Has anyone seen this intake on another e36 before? On an e46? If so, if you could find some pictures that would be great.

Also when I bought it I assumed it was a 3" intake, but its actually a 3.5", but came with a reducer.

I cant decide if I want to keep this one, or my ecis intake. This one is definently way louder under WOT than the ecis one is.

This setup is good for atleast 300WHP. My friends civic had the same setup.

Nice intake! But yeah, as someone has mentioned, why doesn't it sit against the rail at the top to suck in the air from the scoop leading from the grill, like the old intake? In its current position, wouldn't it be sucking in a lot of hot engine bay air?

I had a similar one on my car, it sat a little more forward towards the headlights, maybe another inch, don't have any shots of it though. Sounded pretty good though
