you rang??? Lolz
how long have you had the e30?
[OO==[][]==OO]
sorry it's taken me a few days to reply.
I don't have the e30 in my possesion yet. I own it (paid for it) but it's still in Richmond, VA (where I bought it). It's at a shop called Delta V Motorsports that builds Spec E30 racecars. It's a long story of how it ended up there. No, I'm not having them turn it into a spec e30. I've had them do a few odds and ends and I'm going to be having the car shipped to WI within the next few weeks. It's a white 1990 325i 2dr. I've already found a full cardinal red interior (with sport seats) to replace the tan vinyl that's in it currently. The car already has black carpeting in it so I'm glad I won't need to mess with that. I've got lots and lots of plans of what I'd like to do to the car. I need to talk to some e30 guys to bounce some of my ideas around. I've been around Volkswagens for so long that I know them inside and out. I've always loved E30s but I am new to learning where to buy parts and what's the best way to do things. It's exciting to learn though!!!

ya I was reading through the names and I saw all the stout student. I'm in the Engineering Technology program. I also am the secretary of the UW Stout Auto Club (slowly showing ignorant chevy truck owners the joys of a bmw ha ha)
Unfortunately I was part of that club when I was there.
Well the first year I was there (04-05), things were good.
From 05 onward things went south way fast. One member schemed up with an alumni and literally stole, the Dome. ('54 Firedome)
In Fall of 06, with all the fall out, I ended up running the show for the entire semester (graduated in Fall 06) - Admin was a joke. I took care of rewriting the Constitution to empower the club over the alumni, restructured elections, etc. Resecurred the safe deposit box at the bank, balanced the checkbook, etc.....
If they still had the 93 Bonneville at Jeremy's shop (Pit Stop Tire), that is my old car.
Anyway, go talk to big Tony in R & R. Super cool guy. We had good times together.
Is Nancy Schofield still teaching CAD? She's a great professor.
oh ya small world. ya i heard the whole story behind the stolen car and what not. We did away with going to jeremy's shop last year. We just meet at this guys small garage this year and next year I will have it at my house, and i hope to attract more members bc some of the current member are not so welcoming. We have a 52 chevy pickup now but it's pretty rough
We have about 12 guys that are active in the club and we have fun. I have been trying to expand our events outside of doing car shows, earlier this year we had a little road rally around the back roads around Menomonie and Knapp and on the 20th where going to do an autox style ice race on lake menomine with the club.
Honestly?? ewww.
