    my guess... a dvd/media player 'pod' type thing that will have a range of options and docking systems to be used in the back seat of various bimmers. We all know they lagged behind in a useful ipod integration setup... so why not invent their own ipod-like device that works how they want it. it would be very nice to have a GPS unit with 40gb worth of tunes and/or video that could be popped in the dash or dropped into a dock in the back of a seat or folded down from the ceiling for backseat passengers.

    Thats what I got out of it. Maybe earlier, when this thread was started, they had something else playing. But whatever little gizmo was being displayed must of been some metaphor of whats coming in the 1 Series...

    when it first launched it mentioned none of that and gave no clues as to it even being a car. They added all that a few weeks ago.
