    rear view mirror

    i have a 2002 m coupe and the rear view mirror takes up alot of room in the cockpit is there any smaller mirrors i can go with....i just want to be able to see behind me...maybe a convexed small oval mirror or something...any ideas would help

    Common complaint, you can't swap the mirror until you get one of Gary's mirror adapters. Try a search to find his web site, buy one of his adapters, & then buy a mirror of your choice. They work great.

    How does it attach? If it's just glued on your cheapest bet would be to take it off and just buy from a junkyard the little tab that glues to your windshield for a GM (What I believe the adapter adapts to)

    i want a very small mirror i wish i could remove it 100% but i think that would cause problems...maybe ill mount a dash mirror like on the old cars

    The mirror bothers me too, not its size, but where its placed, the only problem is, I REALLY LIKE IT, it matches the car, all the mirrors are oval, why shouldn't this one be too. I hope to find a way to keep it in the car and just raise it up

    i would remove it all together if i thought it would be safe, but i think its important, but it takes up soooooooo much room in the window, i have no idea how im going to make this work, but i will find something that works
