    Heater Blower Switch Fuse

    Hello,

    Wondered if anyone could help.

I'm looking for the Fuse for the Heater Blower switch on a 98 Z3. The fuse box says its under the stearing wheel, but I cannot find it at all. I've had a look on RealOem, but no joy there either.

Can anyone help, ive only got one speed and thats gale force!!

Not the fuse, it's a resistor pack located in the air duct. Do a search here, as there was a write-up recently on replacing it.

If it was the fuse, do you think you'd have gale force?

Hmmm.... gotta try the thumb on the wiper trick next time. It was a major PITA removing the wiper arm.

Anyone know what adhesives they used for the weather stripping & wiper console?

For all those similar applications, I use a 3M strip caulk. It's black, super sticky and comes in a box of 12" strips (various cross sections= 3/16", 1/4" and maybe 5/16"). You can get it from Eastwood or a local autobody paint/supplies outlet.

I bought the resistor, but mine started working again of its own accord. I therefore have one spare resistor. It's new in box. If anyone needs one pm me.
