    Funny...E36 318is VS Vette Z06

    Killed: Cocky young driver that thinks he's top shit.

    haha yeaaa yeaaa before anyone pipes up I know I should have been beat easy, but this driver didn't know the first thing about his car from looks of it.

    It was on the highway and i'd say buddy pulled by me going at least 160KPH, so I felt like playing that day and shifted down put the pedal to the floor. I passed him at 240KPH (im also pretty sure thats as fast as my car is going to go, haha) and you guys shoulda seen the look on his face, haha saw him later that day in town too, so I beeped and waved to add insult to injury.

    Love it.

    I know what they can do, my dad owns one. AND WOW does it have power. But he tried to keep up for a bit...man you guys on this board gotta chill your jets and just relax for a little bit, chuckle a little maybe?

    yea 150mph is correct, and like I said too, thats as far as she's going. It's rated 260KPH, but I can't see it getting to it without some more mods.

    my 318i is limited at 120 and there arent many more rpms to go after that...maybe you canadians got a different breed of super crazy fast 1.8L engines

    you have a tiny four cylinder engine that is over a decade old. there is no way in hell you're gonna break 125.

    OK, i'll change the way im wording it then, when i say its rated at 260KPH, i mean thats as far as the numbers go...also my top speed is not limited (governed) because i have an ECU upgrade, among some others mods.

    ...so?

    n/a mods to a tiny 4 cylinder are going to do nothing. you're still not going over 120/125 at best. do not buy this at all.

    Yeah e36 m3's top out at a little over 150 no way the mighty 318 can make it past that, there all about o-60 ftw!
