1978 e12 530 For Sale B/O

Hello everyone,

I got a 1978 530 e12 on Weds night in hopes to put it back on the road cheaply for a winter car to keep my e21 off the road and the extra miles off my truck. Well, I got some bad news. Its going to need more work then I was willing to do to it. If anyone is interested in a e12, PM me. Here is good and the bad:

Good

Motor rebuilt 500 miles before it was parked for 4 years -My shop checked the engine and they said the inside is clean and it does turn over with ease via the starter (didn't start it because the fuel was going to be drained)
Clutch was also replaced at the same time for the 4-Speed Manual Transmission
Blue interior is almost perfect. Seats, door panels, and dash are all very nice
14" aluminum Alpina style BMW wheels

Bad

Currently not running but ran when parked
Thermal Reactor bad
Front end needs work
Brake and fuel lines are all rusted
Rubber lines cracking
Rust on lower drivers door and lower drivers fender
Smells like mildew
trunk does no open for some reason

Its savable for the right person, that person is not me. I'd rather put the money into my e21. The excitement was short lived. I like the car alot but I don't want to put the time or effort into it. Perfect for the e12 lover or someone who needs a good engine.
