So the rack & pinion is bad in my E30....My question is that I heard that I am able to use an E36 rack & pinion and that its better because it takes less turns to lock? Is this accurate or am I hearing BS? Thanks!

Fact... but you will need to modify your steering knuckle to make it fit correctly.

This is one of the main reasons I'm selling my E28, it doesn't have rack & pinion and therefore you can't do that mod.
