Now that I have my HID's installed, I noticed I get a low beam failure on my computer. Some type of work around would be appreciated!
There's a good write-up on the web somewhere, but basically what it amounts to is removing the OBC from the circuit. On a friend's M3, we cut the wires leading from the headlight fuses to the OBC and connected them directly to the 9006 low-beam connector that plugs into the HID ballast. It's actually pretty simple, but there isn't much room to work under the fuse box when splicing the low-beam wires.
Try looking on some of the HID resellers' websites, like Xenon Depot

I just put in a 30A fuse for the low beams and that took care of it!

are you using your low beam power for triggering the HID relays or for power for your ballasts?Originally posted by Chronz

I am using the low beam relays for just triggering the ballasts
I'm pretty sure I tried 30a fuses but I'll try it again.

RichP has the write up on his site. he's the fist person I know to do that....I've always ignored it but it'd be nice to fix one day.
