I have a 1993 325is, in which 3 ignition coils are not firing. Took me a while to trace it back to the ECU. I understand the cars are poorly designed in the water drain design and water might have contacted my ECU. I am having trouble locating an ECU or repair shop!!! Im in Los Angeles, can anyone help? I cant drive on three cylinders!

Might be a bit more $ but try the dealer? My bro had an ecu problem, he doesn't drive a BMW though, and the dealer took a look and he ended up sending it to an ecu place that fixes them and ships it back about a day later by air mail, to minimize down time on your car.
I will try to find the site if that helps man, let me know.
thanks for the help. Im in no rush, saving money is more important right now. Unfortunately, in the mean time I must drive my e34 hah.
The ecu in your car is very common...I think its a 413....post your ecu number.....flebay is a good start ...the dealer is brutal for replacement cost...you should be able to find one for around the 100 dollar area.
