I'm on the West Coast in Victoria B.C.. I got my 1982 320i for 1000 dollars and I've been cleaning her up slowly on pretty much no extra money, in my diminutive spare time, since March 2010. I hope someday I will get to a point where I can show off. Despite the setbacks I ADORE the car and her name is Brigitte.

ooo im from richmond b.c. where driving becomes hectic because everyone just honks and fails to drive. bought my rebuilt 318i 1992 e36 5spd

so far leather seat swap, leather door panels. defogged headlights. rear trunk with spoiler(old one was dented) new wheels(enkei) only ones i could find / afford. running winter tires 225s in the back and reg tires in front - found out that leads to understeer instead of oversteer in the rain almost hit the tree doing that...

ball shortened shift knob , pedal covers , 4500k headlights

saving money for an engine swap to give it that extra kick
so far mods cost 800 ish and car only 500


wheels are kinda meh but atleast they handle better

Hi all I hail from Jasper Ontario not far from Ottawa. I recently bought a 1993 318iS for $700.00. Safetied it (with some minor rust repairs) and etested it (with a minor tune up) and driving it now. Plans are to redo the body in the spring, not much to repair and paint, put 17's on it, it already has the M3 suspension on it but I would like to lower it more to lap it at a nearby racetrack (Calabogie). Short shifter was installed last night (great shifts now, nice and close). Hope there are other enthusiasts near me....lol.

P181E heeeellllppppp!!!!!!!!!!!
so last night i added some angel eyes to my 1997 bmw 528i with 540i headlights and taillights. after i was done. i hooked up the relay to a positive wire that was in the ECU box under the passenger cabin filter. it worked fine.... till this afternoon i went to turn on the radio and it was acting funny... it would turn on and off and what appeared to be a code.... ((( now my display is a bit messed up like every other stereo with its pixels ... i t showed a P181E or 101E not sure cuz of the screen)))).... so i undo the relay wire and just hook it uo to the main battery positive cable in their not just some red wire.... ill take all the pics tomorrow...... the flickering has now stopped but now the code is still there,,, i tried pressing all the buttons but wont work... the only thing thats working is time and setting the time. no other lights or error massages anywhere..... anyone ?

Hey from Edmonton. I'm not an official owner yet - on order - 2 weeks to go. First BMW. It will be a Sapphire Black over Cinnamon X5 diesel. Truly hope I don't regret it (prone to problems?).
