These guys are not cheap but they are good and they won't rip you off. They don't like to do NON-OEM work though.
Kelly Moss Motorsports
They moved their shop recently, its off of hwy 14 south
Again not cheap but very good.
I know another guy who's good but he's in Mt. Horeb and has a one man shop so not always fast. LMK.
Cheers,
Pete

+1 for Accurate Alignment in Madison. $57 for a front end alignment (I replaced my tie rods). Seems to have done a very nice job.
Did my part for Wisconsin bimmer heads the other day, flew out and drove home an 04 silver grey SMG m3.
It was a fun time... but now it needs a little work.
Can anyone suggest a shop that will rewrap the leather seats and armrest?
Im out in waukesha area... but i can drive as far as madison or milwaukee for good work.

In case anybody is shopping for tires in the western burbs, Big Bear Tire in Oconomowoc is first rate. Great service and product knowledge, and fair pricing. Plus, they're scrupulously honest. They also do suspension work.
They carry Bridgestone, Dunlop, Conti, General, Hankook and Nokian, among others.
Ill also vouch for accurate alignment. We use 'em any chance we get with our Madison location. Problem is they tend me backed up pretty hefty a lot of the time.
I will vouch for and definitely recommend:
Mark's Motor Mechanics
Import Car Specialists
490 Madison St (Hwy 14)
Walworth, WI 53184
Mark is a really nice guy. I have been doing a large project on my 84 318i, and he has let me borrow tools a few times - he didnt even ask for a deposit.
He has pressed in a few bearings for me, all at no cost.
In fact, I have been there half a dozen times - and I have only been charged once (and that was because I requested it)
Mark seems to have a history with Bimmers and a passion for them.
Brian, I was a first-time customer today, and was impressed (your crew changed the trans fluid in my white 540i). The technician ran into a little glitch when his fluid pump failed, but the job was well-done, and that's what matters. And Amsoil beats the %$&% out of LA2634!
Free beverages and wi-fi too. I'll be back.
Russ
I have always gone here to get my windows tinted and they do an AWESOME job along with lifetime warranty....never had a problem with them.
Tint Boyz Window Tinting
(414) 643-7000 2439 W Lincoln Ave, Milwaukee, WI, 53215
I've had 3 cars done at tint Boyz, they do great work.
Are there any gatherings for Bimmers in the Milwaukee Waukesha area? I got a 06 E60 and am looking for some others to drive with...
Also Brian, I'll be bringing you my M5 for the plugs being replaced next week. You were the lowest price by far and have the best reviews.
Looking forward to heading out to your shop next week!!

Hey everyone, new e30 vert owner. Anyone know of a good but affordable body shop? I need new bumpers, thinking about swapping out my hood and trunk and getting a full paint job but don't want to spend too much.
vas93e30, contact us, we have a great affordable body shop we use allllllll the time!

I searched this thread and didn't find this place listed, but here:
Kummrow Automotive LLC
www dot kummrowautomotive dot com (I'm new so I can't post URLs yet)
Address: 2201 W Bender Rd, Glendale, WI 53209
Phone414) 352-2886
I haven't worked with them before or heard anything about them, but I thought I'd at least add to the list.
Bumping an old thread, but I'm looking for a shop near me to start a relationship with as I recently acquired my first BMW. Matt's Foreign Car repair is just around the block from me and would be crazy convenient. Anyone have recent(ish) experience with them?
http://www.mattsforeigncar.com/
Just wanted to post an update: I got my thermostat replaced at Matt's Foreign Auto this past week and they did a great job. Very up front and honest. Contacted me when they had a question of what they wanted me to do. Good people to deal with so far.
Hello. I need a help with Timing chain guides for my BMW 2001 740IL. Maybe somebody did it before and can recommended who can do this procedure. I'm live in South of Wisconsin and looking somebody in my area or around.
Thank you
i've never had them do timing chains, but i trust them to fix whatever I bring in. normally, i do all my maintenance myself, but when a job is beyond what i want to do, or i just need the car fixed quickly, Kummrow Automotive does a great job. maybe a little pricier than some places, but they know their way around 80s-current BMWs.
Normally I do all my maintenance myself too, but Timing chain guides it not for me. Thanks for help. I'll try call to Kummrow Automotive.
Pat knows his stuff at Kummrow, I went to him after MKEMotorwerks nearly ruined my motor, they had no clue how to install a supercharger right.
