Mid-Atlantic BF.C meet! Saturday Jan.4th @ 7pm

There is a new Clyde's in Rockville that Pete (Teuton) and I go to which is really nice (not gross like the one in Georgetown or tiny like the one in Columbia). 2 bars inside. Maybe we all meet up for dinner and a Happy Holiday drink and toast the new forum and new friends! They don't card at the door, so everyone can come. A really nice atmosphere.

I can't do between Dec.21-28 b/c I'll be on a cruise, so anytime after that would be cool.

BTW-The Clyde's in GT is NOT gross, I go there like once a month, it's awesome!

I was a regular at J Paul's when we lived in Georgetown. We used to go to the Clyde's on Wisconsin Ave also. Is that the one you're talking about? I'm up for it!

next week 21st thru the 28th is bad for me, as I am going on a cruise as well.

Preppy-where are you going? I am going on Royal Carribean to the Bahamas and Key West.

Phil-the Clyde's I am talking about is off of Wooten Parkway near 355 close to 270.

Let's throw some dates out there. Maybe the weekend of New Year's? like a Friday night bimmerforums Happy Hour on 1/3/03? Or on Saturday night 1/4/03?

Actually, we're leaving from Miami, our ship is the Majesty of The Seas. I am looking forward to getting out of this crappy weather!!!

I also like that Friday, the 3rd. I am there assuming that I don't have to work.

Ok, with the holidays coming up, I just wanted to see what would be the best day for a kick off meet for the new regional forum. As mentioned from the previous thread, there is a Clyde's in Rockville which is a pretty nice place to meet up for drinks and dinner. It's a bar/restaurant, so everyone can get in.

Maybe someone can bring a camera for pics?

Yeah, I used be to glued to the MD/DC/VA forum on DTM all the time-Han would post all the local autocrosses on there. I think this was a great idea so that we can see what's going on locally.
