Greetings to ALL! I just joined bimmerforums. I would like to add some pictures of my car but after reading a few other posts apparently I'm not permitted to yet? I have to post 10 times and have a membership for at least 10 days in order to add photos, is this right? Forgive my newbness!

Interesting effect of not having PMs enabled is that if someone (me perhaps) joined the forum so that I could buy something (say an engine), a registered and active member of the forum may lose the sale because I have no way to contact them short of posting on their thread with my contact info.

On the other hand, I've moderated forums that were being bombarded with spam...

That is the very problem I'm having, it's only seven days but I hate waiting and missing some good deals because I can't PM sellers .

Yeah, having no PM is kinda odd. Like I got a PM from a mod and the only way I could reply was to report his PM and put my reply in message thing.

You know, the automerged doublepost feature makes it difficult to get one's post count up so they can post pics of their 98M3 they have for sale...
