One of RMS's(race marque systems) New Projects.....**VIDEO**

Well guys i just finished one of Rms's videos that is going up on their site- http://www.racemarque.com/

It is a video of an E36 M3, this car is my best friend Ben's car. This video is a showing of what they are working on at Rms..... car/project is still in progress, and is expected to exceed 420rwhp.

the project should be done in a week or so.

The video should be up on the site within the week, but i thought i would throw it up on bimmerforums first.You should be able to download the link form the site if my link doesn't work.

So guys any impute is aprecciated.

Cool video.
Interesting new supercharger bracket. Any more info on this setup?
Boost and peak torque numbers would be a good start.

I think that if RMS hopes to sell any of those they need to change there name. RMS has a horrible horrible rep in the E36 community. They have a big deep hole to climb out of.

as for the brackets they are great i have them on my car as well... any questions can be answered by Osh or anyone else at Rms they have an email on their new site.

Yes they do have a bad name, but i can say from personal experience that it is for wrong reasons....... and that hole you say they have dug themselves into will easly be dug out of with the all (plural) the New projects they have going.

(i have there kit and so does my best friend(car in video) and couldn't be more pleased with it)

Please guys I do not want this to turn into people ragging on RMS and giving there life story like the other threads(not saying thats what your doing (Jason))........ this is about the video, the cars, and there new products and projects

whats with the clicking sound by the end of the video? I would be impress if they eliminated map as well..j/k

Hey, nice job on the video. I like the opening titles and some of the transitions you used. You mentioned you wanted some input on the video?Here are a couple thoughts which are just my opinion:

1) incorporate some locked-off (tripod) shots as well, they could be still or panning. If you think they are boring and lack the energy of your handheld shots, just make the locked-off cuts shorter - that's what they do on TV ;-)

2) when you segue from the shop and dyno tuning shots into the road test shots, you might want to play with changing the music up. So you kind of end up with a 'theme' for each scene. The shop could be something down-tempo, and the road test could be something fast and upbeat.

3) Let's hear more car audio too!

Honestly from reading all the stuff about RMS and speaking to people that were involved, if HALF of what has been said is true I am surprised they aren't in PRISON

There was an e-riot on the e39 boards about them

Again tho only on side of the story. the reason they aren't in prison is they(rms) got screwd over... i have delt with the people that screwd them over and that is the huge reason i ever got to know osh/rms and why i trust them so much and chose them.

translusent thanks for the impute i belive all those are very good ideas,...i would also love to get more car audio, but the audio peacked in the capture and sounded to popy so i droped it alittle softer, but again thanks alot and i will try them in the next videos

did you mean map or MAF.... becuase osh did delete the MAF. there is no MAF on that car.

yep we've heard plenty of horror stories about RMS over here in the NYC club as well.

yeah Mike WCm3 on here had an Rms stage II and probobly broke more belts, and had more problems then anything, he ended up selling the kit in hopes of turboing it soon.

but car sounds sick!
