Im looking at 18" Forgeline WC3's in all black which will be $3120 shipped to my door or 17" Forgeline Comps in all blackwhich will be $2190 shipped to my door. The thing is, if I go with the 17's I will have 1000-1100 dollars left over for cams and with 18's I will have no money left over. What do you guys think I should do? I track the car with Car Guys once and while. Help me out! All help is appreiated. Thanks
I think you should go for the 17's. Reason, do you REALLY need that extra inch? Do most ppl race with 17's? I think you would benefit more because of the cams that you would be able to get. Also, what is the weight between the two? If the 17's are lighter, i would for sure go that route.
A sports car isn't a car unless you know how to drive it!

BUY MY ///M
The 17's weigh around 18lbs each while the 18's weigh in at 22-23lbs each. I'll def go wth 17's. Thanks for the help!
Get the 17s. They'll work better, be lighter, cheaper and allow for more tire choice. Then you'll have $$$ for other good stuff! Make sure to post some pics when you get them on.

Someone once posted the following chart so excuse me for plagiarizing
17 - Go!
18 - Show!
19- Slow!
IMHO go with the 17's.

Oh, I don't know. Some guys have show *and* go
Check out M Rob's awesome ride...
The 18" forgelines are lighter than 20-something pounds I am pretty sure, and they look great.
I am not going to let you off that easy. I was wracking my brain over this decision (which wheel to buy) for the past 6 months. If I had the budget for the Forgelines, that would have definately been my choice.
Have fun!
