I'm just kicking around ideas to "spruce up" the engine bay. The stock setup doesn't leave much to work with in terms of show car stuff, from what I can see. I was thinking about painting the engine cover (is that the right name? where it say M power?) a gloss black. On my previous car I had my body shop do the fn shroud and timing belt covers gloss black and they came out fantastic (see attached pic). Anyone else ever done similar, or have any other ideas? I'm just looking for more ways to waste my money

I think engine painting is ok if you have a show car and all andhave nothing better to do on a sun afternoon
I've seen people paint the ///M cover to match their car as well. Not sure if I would try -- but, if you're bored...why not go with different color hoses, or CF some items....
im doing mine in topaz as soon the paint comes in.... also ideas how to spice up the hoses??? Are there covers, or do you replace the actual hoses??? If so where do i get this stuff...thanks guys!!!! If im spicin up the engine bay mine as well do it all the way.... hence the ordering of billetwerks!!!! hehe

the topaz engine is Chris's car.. he had it painted at a body shop along with his interior. They all came out great!
