    Update...

Registration is 2/3 full for the 10/1 autocross in Richmond, with plenty of BMW's on the list:

    http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/...sevent_id=6054

Registration is now open for the 10/29 autocross in Richmond:

    http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/...sevent_id=6063

And also for the 10/29 driveWISE Accident Avoidance School in Richmond:

    http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/...sevent_id=6066

In related news, the paperwork is almost done and we're about to release the new site location/pics/etc.

Just the course lot itself is 900' x 400' of fairly recent, mostly flat, delightfully grippy asphalt.

    See ya there,

    Jon

I'm glad you guys in Richmond finally found what sounds like a good site. Anything is better than the itty bitty Manchester lot. I'll probably come down to one or a few of the later dates.

I'm just curious, but where can I find info on the TT NASA classing system?

Hahahaha thanks. We're extremely excited about it!

Well even if you bring one of your other showcars, I'm sure you'll still have a blast.

But the E30 M3 would be my choice if I were you,

Well, its either going to be the 325 or the SE-R since it will already be in the trailer from the previous weekend.

    We'll see.

It's almost time for a day of fun!

Also recently announced, NASA has an autocross at VMP (the *huge* lot behind the dragstrip in Dinwiddie) for 12/3, and will be offering lots of runs on a big fast fun course as usual:

NIce. I destroyed my powersteering pump at VIR on Nov.20, but had a great time. So I hope to have it fixed and come down in January.

Jon - sorry to hear you didn't get to drive at the VIR R32 event. We all appreciate your efforts to setup events and make sure everyone has a great time, sometimes at the expense of your own track time. THanks, look forward to driving with you a lot more next year.

Hahahaha, thanks. I did get to drive a few laps in one of the EIP R32's in the last Intermediate session of the day. Those cars are fun!

I'm already planning to "just drive, not work" at VIR-Full on Feb 23, lol...

Hope to see ya in January at VMP,

    Jon

Pics & results from the 12/3/06 autocross at VMP are up. Also, registration is now open for the 1/14/07 autocross at VMP and the 2/25/07 circuitcross (fast autocross on a roadcourse) at VIR-Patriot, not to mention two "arrive and drive" 90min kart enduros at VIR on 2/23-24/07.. all from here:
