Anyone rumors of a 4-door m3?

Was just wondering if any one has heard any rumors about BMW's plan to bring back the 4-door m3. With the e46 m3 performance numbers so close to the m5's I can see why they dont want to release the 4-door right now. Im hoping once the next gen 5 series is released and they retire the e39 m5 they start to produce the 4-door again until the new m5 is realeased, last I heard around 2005-6. Anyway I just got done reading the next gen audi s4 will have the 4.2 liter v8 producing 344 hp. Hopefully that will give BMW more incentative to release the 4-door as well.
