    LTW Flag Picture Thread

    Sup guys,

As the thread title states, post up pictures of LTW flags you have bought from me. This will serve as reference for those who would like to purchase a set in the future. Plus, I'd like to see how my flags look like on all of your cars! It's nice seeing something you made in pictures or on other people's cars

*Here are instructions on how to install it onto your car*

Here's a more comprehensive write up on how to apply the flags, so people don't have to PM me about it anymore

First, have a second pair of hands help you, this is important for those who aren't that experienced with putting these type of things on. You can prob get away with it doing it yourself, but it can't hurt.

Second, go to your local automotive store/aisle. Somewhere that sells the DIY tint stuff. Look for the tint application solution/mix. It is usually in a pretty small bottle. It is normally used apply tint onto cars, but in this case, it'll do the job just fine. This is used in place of water/soapy water, as this dries a lot quicker than water by itself, but not too quick where you won't have enough time to play around with it before it dries up. Apply the solution onto both the flag and the car. If you are still not happy with where the flag sits yet and the solution is getting dry, reapply some more onto the the flag/car.

When applying the flags, apply the hood first. Line up all of the edges so that there is no gap between both the front and the side closest to the fender on the hood. Next step is to apply the fender piece. Apply as closely to the hood flag as possible, so that the squares flow from the hood to the fender nicely. Do not place the flag over the gap that is between the fender/hood.

For the rear, follow the same idealogy. Do the top of the trunk lid first, then the back of the trunk lid, then the two side fender pieces. Each flag should be marked accordingly by me as to its orientation/position/location.

The way the flags are made, they have some extra to them, so you have room to play/work with. If there is excess, just cut it off with a box knife or fold it over the edges of the car, whatever makes you happy.

If you guys are unsure how the flags are suppose to look, find pictures of the original LTW M3 to see how the flags sits on those cars, to get an idea of how to go about it.

Hope this helps you guys out.

That's all I have of my car before I took them off since I was keeping exterior mods to a minimum at that time.

If i had a CF hood, i would put the decals on, then color match my hood to the car, then remove the decals. REAL CF flag ftw!

Curious, what thickness is the vinyl and what is the performance rating? Performance rating relating to UV protection and life expectancy and durability.

    thanks.

I should have fully read the thread before I responded. I read the title quickly and did not see that the criteria was confined to a specific vendor. My apologies to Don at Mod Bargains.
