Exclamation Quick Question: E46 wheels on E36??

I have a friend that is looking to buy a set of snowtires, the wheels came off an E46 325 and are 15" with BMW wheel covers, they really do look like something that you can beat around in. So would these fit a 1997 318ti??? Please help I have searched the archives already.

a couple of memebers in the e36 forum have recently place e46 rims on thier vehicles so i think that they would fit fine.

They will be OK on the car.
Let me know if I can help with the tires.
