    Can I change interior lights?

Has anyone ever changed the amber color interior lights? I'm thinking about buying the indiglo gauges and replacing the stereo head unit. What about the climate control and on board computer etc. Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks Paul.

The lights themselves are white. The amber color comes from the "light piping". That is the material that is conducting the light. All the devices have the amber material.
BMW engineers chose that color because it is the best color for night driving. It does not interfere much with night vision. Actually red is best.

White is the worst next to yellow.
