    Rear tire rubbing question

I have an e39 540 with 19's, koni adjustable shocks, and UUC springs. When I go over rough road or a bump onthe freeway at highspeeds, the rear tires seem to rub. I have the koni's set to the setting they came with at the rear. Will changing my fender liners to m5 liners help or do I need to stiffen up the koni's? If I need to stifen them, how much?

I had the same problem with my M3 when I had 18" wheels fitted, I just have the body shop to roll - in /cut the folding part of the inner fenders. the part where it rubs... it hurts to see it cut, but it works better than feeling it rubs everytime you drive.

what size wheels do you have... what is the offset... what size tires are you running... Also look at your rear wheel well... where exactly is rubbing?
