    parking sensor wiring

I have a 2003 525i and would like to install a simple parking sensor. Does anyone know where to "tap" into the rear light wire. The electronics on this car are new to me - usually, I just find the backup light wires but there are none (obvious) on this car. TIA!

Not really.... These electronic systems are so terribly sensitive we all fear inputting anything like this... If you burn up your lkm, taillight housing, car, whatever, we just dont want the lawsuit or problems...

Personally, if this were my car, and I'm not telling you to do this...

I would take a relay and run power to it directly from the battery. For your switched positive I would use the remote turn on lead for the factory amp (also in the back) the wire is a thin white wire. This would not influence the rest of your touchy touchy electronics.

    Best of luck!!!
