Update of the Beige Bimmer Project - Big pics

Big and kinda crappy, since it's getting dark and I just finished awhile ago.
Put on Eibach Sportlines with Bilstein Sports, took off the pinstripe, changed the front clears to smoked, and put on the ///M mouldings.
I'll try to get better pics tommorow after it's aligned.
Now I just need to get some money for tires and get the 19" HM II's on!

The grey will be taken care of shortly, when I get vacation.

The drop looks good. It will probably get a little lower after it settles... which is a good thing.

Yeah, it should settle. When I did my sons I was disappointed in the drop at first, but it settled down quite nicely. Getting the 19"s on there should help with the lowered look, also.

I have a '92 E34 Touring I just picked up about a month ago. There's pics of it in 'The Chop Shop' forum.

    Mount Vernon.
And you did see the dogs, right? The one clearly pictured probably wouldn't let you up the driveway. The one that you can only see the eyes is a Wraith.

That is the same suspension setup I have. Looks great, and it will settle lower than that, trust me.

I hope it turns out half as nice as yours is. If it does that will be nicer than most stuff around my parts.
Knowing you had this setup made it easier for me to decide to go for it. You've got a perfect stance.

Looks like you need to have a yard sale. No parking in that garage.

I've got a Nissan I need to put a clutch in in one bay, a '46 Ford Coupe project in 1, and the other bay is filled with BMW parts.
There's also some antique furniture in the process of being refinished.

Looking good, but I have a question....not slamming you here, just genuinely curious...

I see lots of people putting ///M mouldings on their non ///M cars. What's the rage about putting ///M mouldings on? Do they offer any thing different than just the motorsports badge?

But what looks different? Is it just that the ///M mouldings have the ///M badge on them?

They're wider to match the moulding on the bumpers, and they don't stick out an inch like the standard ones. Just makes for a cleaner look and a smoother transition from front to back, imo.

Cool. That's what I was wondering. So, is there a small depression where the ///M badge goes into the moulding to mount flush or does it simply stick on to the moulding? In other words, I don't have an ///M. So, I don't want a ///M badge on my car. Is it possible to take the ///M badge off the moulding? What is behind the badge?

There is a rectangular hole in the moulding the same size as the badge. There are 4 or 5 different badges that they make, ///M, ///M3, Motorsport International, MTechnic, and I'm not sure what else. They have 2 clips on the backside to hold them in place.
Mine came with the ///M badges, and I replaced them with the Motorsport ones.
