    Vacuum ports on Tial 38mm

Hey guys got my tial 38mm wastegate today. I am looking at the diagram for this thing and it doesn't really explain much. There is a side port for vacuum line and there is a top port for vacuum line. What the heck do I do?

I believe the side port is for the line that runs to the turbo and the top port is for a boost controller.

A lot of housings come already tapped. But yes you can tap the outlet of the compressor for a 1/8npt fitting. There is much debate as whether to put the signal line there or in the intake manifold. My understanding is putting it in the intake will increase the boost level slightly more than the wastegate spring. FWIW my signal line for my wastegate has always come from the compressor outlet, no complaints here. I have only run a manual boost controller so far but an electronic is in the works.

I don't have much pressure drop to speak of, I am running a smaller water to air intercooler. It's about half the size of the fmic it replaced. Oops, sorry bout the hijack.

    Awesome toboggan collection.
Hopefully you didn't hold-up 7-11 for those parts
What are you using for the rest of your pipes?
