run both. Manassas is short and technical. Autocrossers inc is?
You've never been to Manassas before have you? Otherwise the decision would be simple.

PLZ Splane the comments about Manassas Im autoXing there this weekend?
Have you ever looked to the top right of an envelope? See that little square thing called a "stamp?" Now picture autoxing on a lot about that size...
Max seat time might be the NCC event this time. The lot is tiny but they have been giving more runs lately. They did 5 at the last event and still had a lot of time for fun-runs at the end of the day. I ended up running in 2 heats plus did a TON of runs at the end of the day. Considering the low turnout for most summer events, I'm really curious as to how many runs we will get this time.Originally Posted by orijinal poser

I didn't know Doby was still designing the courses.Originally Posted by Bahnbaum

That looks NOTHING like a "Doby" course. For example:
^OMG! Talk about tire wear.
I signed up for this sunday, hopefully I'll actually be able to go...
.. very clever. How many people do you think got that ?Originally Posted by vjlax18

ok, makes no difference now......
the original delivery date of the car out of the bodyshop was 2 weeks after april 30.
i gave it a month no worries.
6 weeks later the owner tells me it would be done by the 7th week no problem (last week).
the owner told state farm it would be done by this week (specifically today).
just called the shop, its not being done until next week.
my rental bill has already come out to > $1400 (with insurance only covering $500).
this FUCKING sucks

Just buy a second car. It's probably cheaper than renting a car.Originally Posted by orijinal poser

Or have the body shop pay since they screwed up and miss quoted you a completion time. I can see a week but a month and half? How unrealistic.
Nothing beats a cheap Eta.
getting the body shop to pay for the rental is a joke. the owner is a complete asshole and will not pay for anything b/c he would be losing money.Originally Posted by M-technik-3

state farm contacted him & then contacted me back. just like i anticipated, it will not be done this week. it is 'SCHEDULED' to be complete in TWO WEEKS.
what a fucking joke.
ROCKVILLE CENTRAL AUTOBODY sucks. dont go there.

small claims, contact BBB, state's attorney's office, etc. 'nuff said. Sure, he is in the business to make money; but, hard to do that if you put him out of business
I agree post up the Business name so we as a collective can steer clear of his poor business practices. Is State Farm going to pay him the full price? Seems to me as they would balk at making payment due to poor performance.
Was this the recommended shop by State Farm?
