E36 316i exhaust advice

hi all! new here
I have a 316i E36, and got a Ta Technix exhaust for it. I also got the diffuser compatible with the non-M bumper, since I didn’t really mean to get the M bumper.
Anyway, I was actually wondering how the exhaust tip would fit the diffuser, since (correct me if I’m wrong) the original bumper is not as low as the M one, so the tip that sticks out would result lower as well and wouldn’t center the “cavity” it’s supposed to fit in.
Am I right?

This is something that the muffler shop guy can do in his sleep. The shop has a bender that will make any bend needed for the exhaust to fit.
